The Region's Violence

£9.99

Product description

This signed book is in very good condition. It has some age damage to the binding, but otherwise both the cover and pages are clean, unmarked, and without foxing.

This is Ruth Fainlight's most ambitious poetry collection. It contains poems of intense observation of the natural world, as well as others exploring fundamental areas of consciousness and the spirit. She goes a long way, technically and personally, in dealing with some of the most intractable problems of human motivation and relationships. Ruth Fainlight's work reads attractively and easily, yet is written with intellectual toughness, and made vivid by compelling images.
