A New Fijian Dictionary

£19.99

Product description

Ex-library, red cloth covered book with gilt titles on the spine. There is an old sticky tape mark around the lower spine extending part way across the front and back covers. There is a smaller square one on the back, maybe from an old price sticker. The upper corner of the back cover is very lightly bumped. The book has signs of various stickers, now removed, on the fep and on the title page, where there is also a stamp for the Commonwealth Institute Library and Resource Centre. Apart from that the interior of the book is clean, bright and tightly bound. The book was compiled by A Capell for the Government of Fiji and it states that it is available from the Government Printer, Suva, Fiji. This fourth edition was published in 1973, the first edition was published in 1941, the second edition in 1957 and the third edition in 1968. The first part of the book is Fijian-English and the second part English-Fijian.
