Undated, English New Edition, revised and enlarged published in the D.M.C. Library.

A beautiful book with dozens of monochrome illustrations and 13 full colour plates. Decorative end papers, with a design of the DMC logo. 809 pages together with an appendix of DMC cotton colours, index and advertising other reference materials in the DMC Library. Gilt top edge of pages.

An absolute must for anyone with any interest in any kind of needlework. It covers all aspects of needlework including knitting. embroidery, tapestry and macramé amongst other subjects. It also includes sections on repairs and the use of sewing machines.

Comes in a cardboard sleeve. Complete with integral green silk bookmark. The spine is slightly faded and there is the occasional small mark and light foxing to the edges of the pages, but overall in a very good clean condition.
