Ford Farm Tractors of the 1950s

£10.99

Product description

The 1950s marked a time of change in agriculture, both in the United States and around the world. In this book, author Randy Leffingwell illustrates that change through the story of Ford tractors, and of the interplay between Ford's US division and its British division. This book follows Ford tractors from Ford's initial postwar US and UK offerings to the eventual integration of Ford's far-flung tractor divisions, resulting in the creation of the world tractors in the early 1960s.

Highlighted are all the important Ford and Fordson tractors of that era. This includes:

- The traditional 8N and Fordson Major
- the Fiftieth Anniversary Golden Jubilee
- Workmasters, Powermasters and Select-O-Speed tractors
- The Fordson Power Major, New Major and Dexta Diesel

This book is in good overall condition apart from light signs of previous use/ownership as shown in photographs #3 and #4.
