New York Central color photography of Ed Nowak

£20.00

Product description

Edwin S. Nowak was the official company photographer of New York Central Railroad. His lens saw what became known as a refined mixture of sleek two-tone grey stream-liners and fast merchandise freights gliding effortlessly along multi-tracked water-level' rights-of-way.

Nowak also took many coloured photographs that, because of printing limitations on the 40's and 50's have rarely been seen. They are reproced in this album.

In this book Nowak narrates his recollections about taking these memorable pictures.
