A 1969 fourth impression of the 1884 publication with the full title "The General Armory of England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales; comprising a Registry of Armorial Bearings from the Earliest to the Present Time.". In addition to the General Armory, the book contains a section on heraldry, a glossary, a dictionary of terms, abbreviations, the Royal Armory, a supplement to the general armory, and mottoes. The boards are grey with gilt titles, and have a few light handling marks, plus slight wear to corners; the spine has a few full length creases and the bumped ends have small chips; the spine surface film has cracked down both edges. Some slight soiling marks on the text block edge. Inside pages are clean and bright and the volume is tightly bound.
