The Mariner's Handbook

£24.99

Product description

The book has dark blue cloth-covered boards and spine. The book title and the edition number (with date) are written in gilt on the front cover. The spine has the book title and edition year together with the series number (100) also written in gilt. The front and rear covers have some lightening of the cloth cover towards the spine. There is little sign of bumping to the corners although there is some shelf wear at the spine. The endpapers are well-glued to the boards and well-stitched to the spine. The fixed endpapers at both front and rear ends of the book have depth conversion tables. The pages are well cut with little sign of discolouration. The book contains two fold-out maps and many charts, diagrams and photographs, the latter being mainly black and white. The contents page of the book has some notes written in blue ink. The book also contains two supplemental books for the fourth edition, No. 1 dated February 1975 and No. 2 dated August 1976. These are written and published by the same author and publisher for the main book.
