Women in Industry

£12.99

Product description

Issued by the Ministry of Labour and National Service. The book was designed to provide information about those fields of industrial work in which women were normally employed to an appreciable extent and about other occupations in which enquiries were frequently received. The information was designed to assist the Women's Services who were concerned with education, training and resettlement.

This book was produced to provide the Women's Services with answers to questions typically asked by servicewomen looking to move into industrial work.

Hard back book. No dust jacket. Dark green cover with black lettering on the front. There is a crease running down the front cover which is just in the covering material. There is an R.A.F. Milltown station library stamp inside the front cover. Apart from that the pages are clean with no damage or marking.

The book is undated but the introduction is dated September 1945.
