Newly Imprinted in Parts According as is Mentioned in the Book of Common Prayers 1574. Cum Privilegio Regiae Majestatus. Edited for the Syndics of the University Press, Cambridge. The leather covers are rubbed on the surface and at the extremities but the gold embossed leaves on the spine are still bright. The title embossed on the spine has lost the first and last letters and there is a small dent just below the bottom raised band. The front endpaper is still attached along half its length and the red marbling of both endpapers is still bright.There is a bookplate attached inside the front cover and a dated signature inked on to the front endpaper. The red cut edges have some small scuffs and grubby spots. The endpapers are foxed but the actual text is very clean and unmarked.

One of the largest bookshops in the Oxfam network, Reading Books has more than 5000 different titles in the shop at all times. We have unusually large sections in science fiction and fantasy, literature, history, travel, children's, business and the sciences. There is plenty of space for browsing and a couple of chairs for customers who wish to inspect books more closely. We also have a catalogue of about 1000 collectable books that are kept in the backroom, and these can be brought out for customers to view on request.
