Church and Mission in Modern Africa

£14.99

Product description

This book is a serious assessment of the Catholic Church in sub-Saharan Africa, within the context of continuing Christian mission. The approach is theological, historical and sociological and focuses more intently on certain key problems, such as the issues of the ministry, marriage and the transition from a colonial to an independent regime. It looks at the character of missionary work and its particular needs and problems at the time of writing (1967) based on the author's ten years of working on this continent.

This soft cover book is in quite good condition but its age is shown by rubbed edges and a creased spine. Its interior is very clean and legible.
