Third Edition; reprinted1920. A series of articles first published in the Lotus Journal and attempts to describe the broad outlines of Theosophical teaching in a simple manner. Used hardback in good condition. No jacket. Boards externally slightly grubby with bumping at the corners and head and tail of the spine. Spine darkened but inscription still legible. Internally, pages lightly browned, initials of previous owner on front free endpaper (A.G.P.) but otherwise clean and unmarked. Library plate on front pastedown (Alfred and Frances Pape). Gutter break at p 47, but otherwise sound binding. Tipped in: copy of The Christion Theosophist; The Official Organ of the Christian Lodge of the Theosophical Society; Vol XVII, No1, March to June 1943. in good condition. Some browning to pages, staples rusting but secure.
