I Ching or Book of Changes (1970)

£17.99

Product description

Third Impression of 1968 Third Edition, published in 1970 by Routledge & Kegan Paul.

This is The Richard Wilhelm Translation, rendered into English by Cary F Baynes. With a foreword by C G Jung and a preface by Hellmut Wilhelm.

The I Ching, or Book of Changes, is an ancient divination text and the oldest of the Chinese classics. Possessing a history of more than two and a half millennia of commentary and interpretation, the I Ching is an influential text read throughout the world, providing inspiration to the worlds of religion, psychoanalysis, business, literature, and art.

Complete with unclipped dust jacket, which does have some edge wear and rubbing together with some small tears. The blue boards are in good condition with the remnants of a label on the front. A prize gift plate is attached to the inside cover. The pages are clean, although the top edge is somewhat dusty; the binding is sound.
