L'Alliance oubliée - La Bible revisitée (The Forgotten Alliance - The Bible Revisited)

£29.99

Product description

Please note: The text of this book is in French.

Can the Bible still speak to us today? Are there other readings than literalism that leads to fundamentalism and historical criticism that removes any verticality from text?

For more than forty years, Annick de Souzenelle has tried to break this deadlock by renewing the interpretation of the biblical text by returning to the sources of Hebrew letters. Through a symbolic approach, which also appeals to the psychology of the depths and to the orthodox Christian tradition, it scrutizes here the book of Genesis up to the least of its letters. It percolates the revelation of the "ontological laws" which deeply ground us, and deconstructs the hatify letters which are justified, among others, the submission of women.

There are slight signs of shelf wear to the covers of the book. Internally, the pages are clean and the binding is tight. Overall, the book is in very good condition.
