My Catholic Faith

£24.99

Product description

Subtitled as: "A Manual of Religion". The book is the Silver Jubilee Edition. It has off-white cloth-covered boards together with a red cloth-covered spine. The book's title is written in red and black characters on the front cover together with the author's name in black. The book title and author's and publisher's names are written in black on the spine. There is little bumping of the corners and little shelf wear. The endpapers are well-glued to the boards and well-stitched to the spine although there is some foxing at the margins. At the front endpapers a rectangular piece of the front free endpaper (probably a previous owner's name) has been cut out at the top corner. On the opposite endpaper, two lines of writing have been redacted. This was also probably a previous owner's name. The pages are well-cut and show few signs of discolouration. The book is separated into three parts which cover 195 lessons. The text of each lesson is generally in black letters although some of the key words and sentences are in brown letters. The many drawings in the book are also in brown. There are a few diagrams and drawings that have more colours. There is also a green foldout map showing the Diocesan division of Catholics within the USA. The dust jacket has various tears and rips at both the top and bottom edges where there have been some attempts at repair with adhesive tape. The original price of the book ($4.95) has not been clipped from the jacket. The jacket is coloured red and black and has the book's title and author's name on both the front cover and the spine. The Christian symbol Chi-Rho is shown on the back cover of the jacket.
