The classic tale in an undated hardback volume. The full title reads "The Pilgrim's Progress form this world to that which is to com Delivered under the Similitude of a Dream; wherein is discovered that the manner of his setting out; his dangerous journey, and safe arrival at the desired country: Containing the Pilgrimage of his Wife and Children and also their safe arrival." With explanatory notes by W Mason and evangelical reflections by the Rev J Newton, Dr Hawkins etc. Gilt lettering and bands to spine. Three constituent parts here gathered together although there is some doubt as to the authenticity of part III.

Thomas Kelly undated. Hardback and half bound in leeather. Edge and corner wear. The binding is very poor with the front board being essentially separate and the spine cover held only at the rear. Generalised tanning of the pages. The binding of the text block is good. There are some 15 colour engravings in the text, two frontispieces and a folding out panorama map which is in good condition. These engravings are in quite remarkably good condition with vibrant colours. Und\ated.

Despite the evidence of the passing of the years, a fine version of a classic book. In need of considerable TLC - thus priced conservatively
