"The Life of our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ: containing an accurate and evangelical history of Our Glorious Redeemer, form his birth to His Ascension inot Heaven: together with the lives and sufferings of his Holy Evangelists, apostles and disciples, who have sealed the divine truths of Christianity with their blood, and a Full Defence of Christianity against the objections of atheists, deists, and infidels.... to which are added, Evidences of the Christian Religion, by Beilby Porteus, Late Lord Bishop of London; including a treatise on the faith and practice of a Christian, compiled from the writings of the most eminent and pious divines. Also Dr. Doddridge's excellent sermons..."

This conveys the overall tone! This is an 1851 edition from Thomas Kelly of London. Many b/w steel engravings.

Binding good. Most of the images have darkened/spotted borders, but the central images remain unspoilt. The text pages, with only a few exceptions, are remarkably clean.

Extra postage due to size and weight.
