An attractive, well preserved sixth edition copy of this scarce Missal "Revised in conformity with the Roman typical edition, with a Supplement containing Masses in frequent use in English-speaking countries".
Flexible black leather, edges and spine scuffed and flaking, front spine edge split (but front still attached by end-paper). Spine has 5 raised bands and gilt titles "Roman Missal". Aeg (lower edge slightly scuffed), remains of 2 silk marker ribbons. Black eps, small mark of sticker removal lower ffep. Neat gift inscription dated 1934 on 2nd ffep. Otherwise internally unmarked. Printed on fine India paper, pp lxii, 1261, 282, 214, 117; b&w woodcut illus. No. 697 on half-title.
