Theosophical Publishing House, London, 1938. Hard Back. Book Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. Adyar Edition. 6 volumes. Hardback with blue boards and gilt titles to spine. Front covers bear the emblem of the Theosophical Society and Blavatsky's signature, both in gilt. Spines and corners bumped and slightly worn. Volume edges lightly tanned with some minor staining and shelfwear. All text blocks unmarked. Hinges to volumes 2, 5 and 6 working loose, but holding firm; front hinge to volume 4 also a little loose. Previous owner's name inscribed in blue ink adjacent to spine on inside front board of each volume. Volume 1 has black and white photograph of Helena Petrovna Blavatsky as frontispiece. Spine split in between frontispiece and title-page of this volume, but binding holding firm. This is the Adyar (Fourth) edition of this work published in 1938, reprinted 1950.
