A Bibliography of African Freshwater Fish

£19.99

Product description

This publication was prepared by H Matthes of the Freshwater Fisheries Research and Training Institute, Mwanza, Tanzania for the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. 'This bibliography is an output of the Aquatic Sciences and Fisheries Information System (ASFIS), a computer-oriented system maintained by the Fishery Resources Division, FAO, offering information services. It has been prepared primarily to make available to field experts working on this subject in Africa, a consolidated bibliography of African freshwater fish, as well as to provide the required bibliographic information to scientific institutions, libraries, and museums, from which numerous enquiries on the subject have been received.' The paper cover is bumped at the corners and there are two small tears on the front hinge, one at the upper edge and one at the lower. The cover is a little grubby with some small marks on both back and front. Internally the book is clean, bright and tightly bound. A large book but not overly heavy.
