Subtitled as "Written and illustrated by the 'Romany of the BBC' ." The book has green cloth-covered boards and spine with the book title, author's and publisher's names on the spine in black lettering. The book has a little bumping to its lower corners but very little shelf wear. The hinges are in good condition but the front endpapers are splitting away from the spine somewhat. Both front and rear endpapers are showing signs of foxing, as are the first few pages in the book. The pages are generally well cut although there are signs of a "corrugated" surface on all page edges. There are signs of foxing on the page edges.
