A volume from the I.C.S. (International Correspondence Schools) Reference library. The School was founded in 1890 in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The school prospered and still trades today. This volume would have been used by young engineers looking for skills in the fields of mechanical and civil engineering. Half leather-bound in maroon with gilt lettering on the spine; the cover has some light soiling and edges have slight wear and bumps; text block edges speckled in maroon. The interior of the book is in fine condition, with tight text block. All b/w tables, plans, diagrams and charts are crisp and clear. There are numerous graphs and elegant formulae and all fold-out plans are in excellent condition. This is a very heavy item, which necessitates courier delivery.
