Convective Mass Transfer

£44.99

Product description

This book describes the phenomenon of mass-transfer processes, particularly in regards to aeronautical, chemical, combustion and mechanical engineering, including heterogeneous catalysis, extraction and transpiration cooling.
Text block tight and sound, although edges a little age soiled. All pages clean, all text clear. Dust jacket rather careworn, as may be viewed in the image.
The book contains many crisp b/w diagrams, charts, graphs, also elegant formulae. In addition to these, there are a number of fold-out graphs in excellent condition, with more pristine graphs tucked into a pocket inside the back cover.
The book as a whole does not require knowledge of advanced mathematics to understand: in addition to its use to engineering students, graduates and practicing engineers, it would be useful also to anyone concerned with heating or air-conditioning.
