Davies's Textbook of Adverse Drug Reactions

£50.00

Product description

Chapman & Hall Medical, London, 1998, fifth edition, hardback, 4to, pp xv + 971.
In recent years a vast amount has been written about adverse reactions to drugs, yet paradoxically this surfeit of information has made it more difficult for clinicians to obtain unambiguous answers to their questions. Long established as a standard work on adverse drug reactions, this book is designed to act as a 'map' to help them find their way through the jungle of toxicological fact and theory. Authoritative and comprehensive, it deals with matters of fundamental importance. The approach by clinical feature rather than by drug matches the way the problem presents itself to the clinician. However, those who wish to discover the full spectrum of adverse reactions to a particular drug will easily find this information in the wide-ranging index.
Very good condition. Clean and undamaged throughout. Appears unused.

Oxfam Books & Music Jesmond

We are a specialist shop nestled in the heart of Jesmond, a lovely residential area of Newcastle Upon Tyne. We opened in July 2010 and have on offer 5,000 books, 2,000 records, CDs and games as well as sheet music, cards and stationery within the shop. Our shop has high ceilings and a nice, bright and airy feel. We are gaining a very good reputation in the Rare and Collectable books and vinyl community, but also do a roaring trade in contemporary fiction and modern non-fiction. We also organise live music and book events and aim to be a hub of culture in this wonderfully tight-knit community.
