Jahrhundert. Es wurde von einigen wenigen betrieben, da nach der Entstehung der Entomologie als eigene Wissenschaft im 18. Jahrhundert Insektensammlungen im Allgemeinen eine wichtige Grundlage wissenschaftlicher Arbeit als Dokumentations- und Vergleichsinstrument boten. Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts begann sich das Sammeln als Hobby zu etablieren. Es war ein populäres Hobby zahlreicher naturbegeisterter Menschen aller Altersstufen und Länder, das in Literatur, Musik und Film Spuren hinterlassen hat. Nachdruck der Originalauflage von 1880.

Undatiert, aber Stil schlägt vor, Ende des 18. Anfang des 19. Jahrhunderts. Gute klare Seiten mit etwas stockig, einige Rand und Board Verschleiß.

It started collecting butterflies in the 17th and 18th centuries. It was operated by a few, because of the origin of Entomology as a separate science in the 18th century collections of insects in general provided an important basis of scientific work as documentation and comparison tool. Mid-19th century, the collection began to establish itself as a hobby. It was a popular hobby of many nature enthusiastic people of all ages and countries, which has left its mark in literature, music and film. Reprint of the original edition of the 1880.

Undated but style suggests late 18th early 19th century. Good clear pages with a little foxing, some edge and board wear.
