Ecology of Soil Animals

£4.99

Product description

Published in 1970, this book by John A. Wallwork (Lecturer in Zoology, University of London) provides a basic text on the ecology of soil animals. It assumes little previous knowledge on the part of the reader. After the introduction of the soil as a habitat for animal life, each group of the soil fauna is considered in turn. The book reflects the understanding and approach of that time (1960s). The hardback still has its dust cover though it is stained and bent along the edges. The boards are sound, though faded along the edge, and the pages are clean. There is an ink inscription on the frontispiece.
