The preface comments ' Population growth and industrialisation have enhanced the demand for wood products in India accentuating the pressure on forest resources. Already demand is far in excess of supply and this gap is expected to widen considerably. Several strategies were adopted to increase the supply of wood to meet the industrial and domestic demands'

The corners of the covers are bent and the base of the spine rubbed, there is the name of the previous owner on the front cover, otherwise this volume is in near fine condition.
