Farming: How To Begin

£19.99

Product description

A. G. Street wrote many books using his background as a Wiltshire tenant farmer as source material. This book was written in response to thousands of readers' letters asking how to become a farmer.
Plain green dust jacket with black lettering, somewhat faded but in good condition except for slight bumping on edges and sunned spine. The inner flaps of the dust jacket show how vivid the green cover once was. Bound in jade green cloth, again with black lettering. Apart from age soiling on text block edges, a little foxing inside and a neat ink inscription on the front free end paper (Leslie, with love from Eva, 10/6/41.), the interior is in very good condition, with clear text and nine full-page b/w charts dealing with agricultural courses available at that time (1939).
In almost VG condition.
