Product description

Two volumes from the Freshwater Biological Association of the British Empire, published in 1941. Scientific Publication No. 4 is entitled "A Key to the British Water Bugs (Hemiptera - Heteroptera excluding Corixidae) with Notes on their Ecology" by T T Macan. Scientific Publication No. 5 is entitled "A Key to the British Species of Freshwater Cladocera with Notes on their Ecology" by D J Scourfield and J P Harding. Small green paperback books, the colours of the covers are different shades of green. Both books are stapled, there is some rust around the staples but the binding is tight. The covers are clean and in good condition, there is no damage just slight signs of wear and a little sunning to the very thin spines. Both are illustrated with line drawings. To be sold as a pair.
