Publication date: 2005 reprint of 2003 original. Condition: Good. The cover is in very good condition apart from scuffs at the corners and a little edge wear. Internally the previous owner has added a couple of marginal notes in ink, and on about a dozen he has made small corrections to the text in red ink (eg changing the sign of a term in an equation or changing the units of a measurement - such as from m to mm or changing "lower flammability limit" to "higher flammability limit"). The original term can usually be determined beneath the correction. The double page 392-396 (part of the appendices) is loose, although all other pages are present and seem firmly fixed. Apart from these issues, the rest of the book seems in very good condition - clean and tight. The Beeston books and music shop is situated near to Nottingham University, close to the city of Nottingham. There is a train station nearby. We offer a wider selection of books than most shops, from modern fiction and leisure interest to more specialist subjects, academic books, and rare or collectable items. There is a wide variety of music, including sheet music and a good selection of high quality classical, rock and pop vinyl. The volunteer team is a diverse mix from the local community, and University. We are currently recruiting for a quality control volunteer.
