How to make Aerials for TV

£24.99

Product description

One of a series of manuals for home constructors of crystal sets and other radios, this paperback pamphlet with coloured cover is a quirky period piece. Although the final page lists BBC television transmitters, their polarization, power and dates when they were or will be fully operational (Carlisle Area due 1957, site not yet fixed), the back cover lists other available radio books, with metric prices (i. e. post 1971) and the front cover bears a price of 18p.
However, all text is clear, as are the several b/w charts and line diagrams of aerials and component parts. Staple rust has stained all pages but does not impinge on text nor illustration. The front cover, though scuffed remains vividly colourful as shown.
