Lectures on Comparative Anatomy, Physiology, Zoology, and the Natural History of Man by William Lawrence

£14.99

Product description

This detailed account of Lawrence's lectures on Physiology covers many areas including 'The Cultivation of Zoology', 'The Distinctions between Man and Animals' and the 'Origin and Transmission of Varieties in Form'. The book also features 12 black and white pictures (some that fold out) to further illustrate Lawrence's points. The frontispiece also has interleaved tissue paper to protect the photo.

The green, embossed cover features a medieval pattern. It has some small marks and is worn at the corners and spine, though holds the binding well. The pages are slightly yellowed and less than ten pages have small amounts of foxing. The pages are otherwise clean and very readable. The inside cover has some writing however it is illegible and the very last page is ripped.

This book would be perfect for anyone venturing into a medical or physiological degree!
