Magnetism and Electricity

£14.99

Product description

Subtitled as: "An Elementary Text-book For Students". The book has dark grey (originally black?) cloth-covered boards and spine. The book's title and author's name are shown in embossed print on the front cover with an embossed double line around the edge of the book. There is considerable bumping and scuffing of the corners. There is also much shelf wear including a book-length tear to the spine covering. The endpapers are well-glued to the boards and well-stitched to the spine, although they do show some signs of foxing. The pages generally do not show many signs of discolouration although there is some foxing towards the edges. The page edges themselves are foxed. Some of the page corners have been folded over. The book has an errata slip bound into the spine on the preface page. The book has many diagrams drawn in black throughout. There are several pages of past exam papers (dated 1874-1881) at the end of the book which give a potential guide to the age of the book (c1890?), together with advertisements of other educational books published by Thomas Murby.
