Matrices and Transformations (Graded Examples in Mathematics)

£3.99 Out Of Stock

Product description

This series has been written and produced in the form of eight topic books, each offering a wealth of graded examples for pupils in the 11-16 age range; plus a further book of revision examples for fifth formers.

There are no teaching points in the series. The intention is to meet the often heard request from teachers for a wide choice of graded examples to support their own class teaching. The contents are clearly labelled for easy use in conjunction with an existing course book; but the books can also be used as the chief source of material, in which case the restrictions imposed by the traditional type of mathematics course book are removed and the teacher is free to organise year-by-year courses to suit the school. Used in this way, the topic-book approach offers an unusual and useful continuity of work for the classroom, for homework or for revision purposes.
The material has been tested over many years in classes ranging from mixed ability 11-year-olds to fifth formers taking public examinations. Some sections are useful for pupils of above average ability while other sections suit the needs of the less able, though it is for the middle range of ability that the series is primarily intended.

Pages are clean and in very good condition. Some wear at edges and to the cover but generally in good condition.
