Product description

Large blue cloth cover with silver titles on the spine. The cover has some minor stains and the corners are bumped, the edges are rubbed and the ends of the spine are bumped. The book has a slight lean. The cover is loose at the hinge but still attached. The front inside cover has a label attached from the original book shop and there is an impressed name on the fep which says 'The Cooper Technical Bureau'. The fep and the next page's edges are curled and the top corner of the dedication page is creased. Internally the book is clean, bright and, apart from the above mentioned, tightly bound. There are no illustrations in the book but there are tables of data. The subtitle to the book is "Their Bionomics and Relation to Disease". This book was published in 1955 by the Ronald Press Company of New York, the author was William R Horsfall, Associate Professor of Entomology at the University of Illinois. A heavy book.
