One of a series of the Oxford Library of The Physical Sciences, this book is intended as an account of noise in electronic apparatus and its effect on performance and sensitivity for engineers and physicists who have occasion to use and design such apparatus, but whose interests are not primarily in fluctuation problems. It should also be useful to students of physics and electrical engineering as an introduction to this subject. The book's stiff card covers have only a few light creases and some light marks on text block edges. The jacket has some slight marks and dust soiling on the cream surface areas; corners are slightly rubbed and spine ends have small chips; closed tear approx. 5mm to the bottom of the spine. Clean inside and soundly bound.
