Volumes VII and VIII in "The Ecology of Indonesia" series. The challenging task of documenting Indonesia's marine realm is presented here in a two-volume set, the result of worldwide literature reviews and extensive field observations. The first volume provides a review of the geology, physical oceanography and meteorology of the archipelago and coral reefs. The second volume discusses the origins, formation and distribution of various reef types in the Indonesian archipelago, provides a review of the ecology of seagrass, mangrove and open-ocean ecosystems, and discusses marine biodiversity and the effects of the human race on marine resources.

Part One: pp xiv + 642 + 27 pp colour plates. Both book and d/w are in very good condition. Pages clean and unmarked with no inscriptions. Very slight bumping to base of spine.
Part Two: pp vi + 745 + 21 pp colour plates. Both book and d/w are in very good condition. Pages clean and unmarked with no inscriptions. Bumping to corner of front board and slight creasing to bottom corner of first few pages. Slight wear to head and tail of spine. 2cm closed tear to d/w.

We are a specialist shop nestled in the heart of Jesmond, a lovely residential area of Newcastle Upon Tyne. We opened in July 2010 and have on offer 5,000 books, 2,000 records, CDs and games as well as sheet music, cards and stationery within the shop.
