£14.00

Product description

The imperial collection of Audubon animals text by J.J Audubon and Rev. J. Bachman edited with new text by Victor Osborn published by Country life. 1968. Very large hardback book with laminated dustjacket. 307 pages. The dustjacket is considerably faded and tanned. There is also considerable shelf wear present. There is a water mark stain on and near to the spine which persists through the whole book. However it does not affect the illustrations or text in any way. Internally despite the water mark the book is in a very good condition, if a little tanned. The beautiful illustrations are clean and bright. A fascinating book documenting the life and travel of J.J. Audubon. Features 'the collection of 150 of the finest animal paintings reproduced in full colour for the first time since 1848.'
