The Red Devil

£90.00

Product description

Reviewed as “the ultimate book on steam locomotives for modern times”.
The author upgraded two locomotives while working with the South African Railroad and provides a detailed description of the problems encountered, also subsequent adventures with various engines in other parts of the world.
Apart from a few tiny dust soiling marks on the upper text block edge and the leading edge, the book is in excellent condition: tightly bound, with clear text on clean pages, crisp b/w charts, graphs, diagrams and illustrations, also several full colour plates. The vivid dust jacket is covered by a clear, protective plastic sleeve.
