Publisher: Victor Gollancz, London, 1972. Hardback, 249 pages, 1st edition very good with good unclipped dustjacket. Cover, in red boards with gilt titling to spine, is in good condition with a slight fray to top of spine, otherwise clean and bright. Book is generally clean and bright throughout with no inscriptions or tears, some light spotting marks to edges of page block. Dustjacket, which is not price clipped, is in generally good condition with just a little shelf wear at upper and lower edges, a few faint marks and a very small (2mm) tear at top of spine.
Overall, a nice first edition of this collection of speculative essays by one of the great masters of science fiction writing.
