Soviet Economic Development

£19.99

Product description

This is a comprehensive self-contained introduction to the Soviet economy and the forces that have promoted or retarded its development. Basing his analysis on original research, Dr Hutchings examines the economy, both chronologically and by subject, and brings to light broad trends as well as much fascinating detail. The book is in near-fine condition with some light bumps to the black cloth board edges and spine ends. Gilt lettering on the spine. Former owners's name and date 3rd May 1983 in black ink to top of the front free end paper. Inside pages clean and bright. The jacket has light general handling marks on the glossy surface, plus slight edge creasing and light tanning around margins and on the spine. This is the 1982 second edition which brings the original 1971 edition up to date. Contains numerous tables and diagrams. Would be of particular interest to students of comparative economic development.
