£17.50

Product description

Publisher: Frederick Muller Limited, London, 1952, 1st edition. Hardback with dustjacket, 163 pages plus index. Cover, in green cloth boards with gilt titling to spine, is in good condition commensurate with age with very slight bumping to spine extremities and a few small marks. Internally, the book is in generally good condition with firm binding and no tears, inscriptions or creases. There is some foxing to endpapers and to page block edges. Pages are lightly tanned but text and illustrations are clean and clear. Small rubbing-out mark on the front endpaper. Lovely b&w engravings at each chapter heading plus other b&w drawings in the text. Dustjacket, which is clipped, is in decent condition for its age with some shelfwear/rubbing to edges and small tears at spine extremities and at top and bottom edges of rear plus some faint grubby marks on rear.
Overall a decent and honest first edition of this classic angling book with lovely illustrations and a decent dustjacket.
