Fighting Judo

£180.00

Product description

The author, a world champion in judo competition, demonstrates throws, holds, pins, turnovers, grabs, and entanglements, and discusses the finer points of mat work.
The book will be delivered by insured courier delivery.
The text block is tight and in fine condition, with clear text and superb photographs by the late Terence Donovan, who attained black belt.
The glossy dust jacket, however , has two closed tears along front top and rear top edges, each no more than 3.5 cm and usually less, but these do not detract from this rare gem, which is signed by Terence Donovan, to someone whose name begins with "K", and dated 1986.
Sadly, Terence Donovan, considered to be one of the best photographers of his generation, suffered from depression and committed suicide ten years after that.
