Fishing and Pike Lures

£24.99

Product description

Condition: Excellent almost new

Chris McCully wrote this book because he felt there had never been a comprehensive study of pike fishing with lures in the English language. Having spent many years in Holland, he believes that we have much to learn from the pike fishermen there. In this book he charts his growing obsession with pike fishing, from the dank canals of Salford to the wide meres of his adopted home of Holland and tells how fishing helped him to adjust to, and enjoy, life after alcohol. Chris McCully is well known to Waterlog readers as one of its most humorous writers and this is no dry 'How To' book. He explores the history of pike fishing and pike lures and gives detailed accounts of where, when and how best to catch pike, with fascinating insights into pike behaviour along the way.

Oxfam Bookshop Bath

The Bath Oxfam Books and Music shop has been open since 2001. We stock a wide selection of books, vinyl, cds and dvds but always welcome donations to keep our shelves full and interesting. Following our shop refit in 2009 we have a modern, bright and spacious interior where customers are welcome to browse at their leisure. We do not specialise in any one area but often seem to do particularly well with History books and Vinyl. Thanks to the wonderful donations we receive on a daily basis through the door, and from our local Book Banks, we offer our customers a fantastic range of stock both in the shop and online. Please come and see for yourselves!
