Pirelli Racconti Di Lavoro

£9.99

Product description

Starting from 1873, year of the inauguration of the Milan plant in Ponte Seveso, Pirelli began its activity, bringing in Italy the industrial revolution. Photographs and archival documents testify to the first generations of workers struggling with the new machinery for working rubber. The economic path and industrial progress of the company fully represent the history of labour and workers in Italy and abroad - by the end of the twenties it commences production in the South American adventure land, the first stage of the internationalization process of Pirelli group. Whole chapters are devoted to the great men who, with their commitment and their hard work, have become the protagonists of the history of labour in our country and abroad, from the last decades of the nineteenth century and throughout the last century.
Italian book with English translations.
