Allan Bell & Co 1836. Small hardback with no dust jacket in very good used condition. Some marking and fading to boards and bumping to corner edges and top and bottom of spine. Pages are tanned with some foxing to first few and last few and there are also some annotations in pencil to several. There is also a written passage in ink (from 1882?)on last page before the appendix and a newspaper article dated 1892 re memorial to Izaak Walton stuck to rear end paper. Hinges and binding are in very good condition apart from some damage to binding pages 304/305. There is an owners name in ink on title page and two small Christmas cards (presumably from 19th century) one each stuck to inside front board and inside back board. Considering the age of the book it is in very good overall condition.
