The Model Engineer & Amateur Electrician Vol VI Jan- June 1902

£19.99

Product description

This volume contains six issues of the magazine in a hard back, grey-green cloth bound volume.
There are 1 or 2 pages missing from the last issue, comprising an answer to a reader's question about how to make a granule carbon cell, and a page of adverts; a repair has been made with brown paper tape to secure the binding at the very end of the book, a more recent repair between pages 96 and 97 has been made with transparent adhesive tape.
The title and details are in black with a small vignette below the title. The end papers are toned, also text block edges but all text is clear, as are b/w pictures and fascinating diagrams. There is also the occasional full-page photograph in sepia or green.
The image shown includes a model electric tramway by the Universal Electric Supply Company.
