A Precsription for Foreing Travel

£19.99

Product description

This colourful little book was a 1966 promotional advertising story released by Guinness in a bid to increase sales of their drink. The tale, written in a poetic manner, talks about the joys of going on holiday and travelling all over the world, yet nothing beats a good pint of the black stuff!

This particular copy in question is in very good condition. Due to its thin staple-bound paper, the exterior does have some signs of wear – namely creasing and scuffing to its 4 corners. Its original clean white has become a grubby darker colour.

As for the interior, all pages are free of any writing, highlighting and markings. There are also some creases throughout the book but generally the reading is unaffected by this. There are beautiful colourful illustrations on every page of the book which are the true selling point of this unique item.

Extremely scarce and hard to come by, this promotional advertising story for Guinness is a very unique book. All lovers of the drink as well as those with an interest in advertising will find this little book a delight. Highly recommended!
