279pp hardback copy, published by the author, in good condition with more than 70 B&W plates. it has green cloth-covered boards with gold-coloured titles. The book is clean and bright with a tight spine. It is complete with a price-unclipped dustcover which has two open chips:at the front cover bottom corner; and at the bottom of the back cover.. There is also some edgewear to the head and tail of the dustcover spine. The pages are clean with no fading or 'foxing' of the edges. There is a dedication writtten in ink on the inside of the front cover of the book inserted by a previous owner or possibly the author. It is complete with a chronology of the tram history events covered by this period and a detailed bibliography of the references used by the author. Refer to the image of the back cover for more information.
