East Anglia The Face of Britain

£14.99

Product description

At the time of publication (1943) there were 14 volumes in this respected Batsford series. This book is well illustrated with 146 bold monochrome photographs, there are also a few charming b/w line drawings.
Although the dust jacket is a little chipped around all edges, with small, closed tears on the bottom and top, front and rear folds, approximately 3 cm long, also it has been neatly price clipped, the design remains charming and subtly tinted.
There is minimal foxing on some text pages but all text is clear on clean pages, the photographs are delightfully evocative. The half title page is obscured by a large bookplate: the book was presented as a Head Girl's prize by Spalding High School. End papers take the form of 2 attractive maps of the area covered in the book.
