Unbranded vintage white wedding dress size XS

An English made wedding dress, that's a lovely example of the vintage era.
High waisted empire line bodice with darts to bust & back. Slim high set collar.
Alternated ribbons in lace-effect & silk-effect, grace the bodice, to front & reverse and the deep tapered cuffs.
Floral lace detail continues as a delicate band to the waistline & border to hemline.
Layered design of white acetate fabrics.
Underlayer to bodice is doubled & opaque.
Underlayer of sleeves & skirt is a single layer, slightly sheer in quality. Skirt has a firm fabric lining, giving opaqueness & strength to the flared shape of the dress.
Top layer of the dress is of a fine sheer quality, as a single layer to sleeves & skirt, doubled to the hem.
Gathering design to centre reverse of skirt, makes added interest to the back, plus gathering to shoulders, cuffs & hemline, create feminine, floaty accents to the piece.
Zip fastening with hook/eye catches to waist & collar. Discreet popper-fastening to cuff.

Altogether the style is evocative of romantic fashions of bygone days, that will always make their way back to us with the passage of time.

N.B. few very faint marks to front of top layer of skirt & some marks to hem edges, likely removable with appropriate cleaning. Item is otherwise very clean & in very good quality.
